pods take 45 days from birth to prodicing eggs. one way that you can culture them is to go and get a small 10 or 20 gallon tank just for them. fill it with live sand not the the live sand in a bag. go to the lfs and tell them you want live sand from them most lfs's have it that they will sell. second is add a ton of LR. feed the tank just a little bit once a week and soon you will have tons of them. you can also add some pods from a bottle. in my sump i have tons of pods since there is nothing in there that feeds on them.
