so here is an interesting question for you guys. i was in a LFS about 2 weeks ago and i was having a long conversation with one of the employees (trying to take his position at the store when he goes to California for college) and we were talking about SPS tanks. anyways we were talking about good foods to feed SPS tanks and he threw this suggestion out there and it has since preplexed me and made me wonder if its true. he siad drip kalkwasser because it is a great coral food (among other things obviously) and they will go crazy for it, so my question is, is this true or was that complete BS?

Huh? I don't see how it could be... Maybe "food" in that corals use it to build their skeletons... But "food" as in what they eat to nourish themselves and metabolize... Huh?

It's food in the sense it adds calcium and alk, but it's not a balanced diet. ;) You still need to supplement mag.
