I have about a 6 month old Aquapod 24 gallon. The hinges on the hood are crap and it tends to over heat. The lights are also not really all that great bring 36w PC's i believe.
I want to upgrade the lights and replace the canopy. I have been using Ulta's tank as a guide. He has what looks like the Sunpod 150w set up. The 20" sunpod is hard to find, I think it was discontinued? The ones I have been able to find are a little out of my price range.
I am looking at the JBJ 150w Viper delux HQI as a clamp on lighting solution. What do yall think? Will this be a good buy for my tank? My ultimate goal is to have a RBTA... I know to wait till my tank is more established but I at least want to make sure I am taking steps in the right direction.
