ppl on RC are saying either Gonodactylus smithii or Gonodactylaceus ternatensis

I joined there because they have a section just for Stomatopods. Havent recieved a bunch of feed back but im still new to them i guess....

I didn't try to pet him no. But I was shifting the LR around with my hand no problem. He watched me do it. I just wasn't working where he was at lol

Well i dont think the mantis will ever get the damsel as smashers really dont eat fish. The spearer type eat fish.

Well i fed em a live emerald crab today...costed me 6 bucks lol. I guess thats cheaper than feeding a girlfriend... Heres video evidence...enjoy...sorry bout me talking in the background. I totally forgot i was recording =)

"Nom nom nom nom" Haha love it. Nice tank though mate, keep me posted, i have a spare 15G lying around thinkin of setting up with Mantis of some kind. But just afraid it may crack the glass.

Haha well you would have to get a smaller mantis for a 15g. Reffer to one of my above posts to a link of the mire common stomatopods. He has the tank requirements for the more common mantis shrimp. Pm me if you need any direct advice on them.

This was awsome. I got 2 gorilla crabs from the LFS for 15 bucks. They are huge compared to the emeralds and hermits i been feeding him. Enjoy.

Lmao! Epic fail on his part huh lol. The other one got,got this morning. I only got the first part on vid. Apparently my mantis loves to punch off the claws and eat them first...kinda like an appetizer =p

Funny story....my mantis eats fish when hungry... He somehow got a hold of my yellow tail damsel because it is completely gone. Not around the tank, not in the tank....GONE. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I think he likes the 6 line tho. The wras is always swimming around em.
