My 50 Pound Clam Shell

Someone gave us a white clam shell they found in the mountains. I can't be a fossil some probably put in there. It weighs a minimum of 50 pounds. It has some brown dirt encrusted on it but it is a bright white color and you can see a slightly pearly inner side. Its about 3 feet across. How much do you think it is worth if I sold it? I don't think it will quite fit in my BC29.

Sorry, the photo quality was not great. Its only half the shell. I've put many shells in my tank and noticed they slowly disolve.

It was near a nature center in the mountains.

I have found 1 foot long fossilized oyster shells in Maryland just outside the border of DC.
