Reefing Is An Obsession
This coral started growing as a tiny speck on my LR 3 weeks after i set my tank up. It has been almost 2 years since then and this unknown coral has only grown to the size of a .50 cent piece. It looks brown in the picture but by the naked eye it is more pinkish with dots all over it and polyps growing on it. I took this picture to my LFS and they had no idea what it was or why it was growing so slow. Although they said they would be interested in a frag when it gets big enough. So for now i still have no clue as to what this is. It looks like a type of leather but not like anything i have seen or read about. Does anyone have a clue?
