I really like the idea you had of incorporating the return into the rocks. How is that working out for you? Do you have nice even flow from each outlet or is it (as I expect) a lot at the first outlet and then slowly getting less until it reaches the end? Do you compensate for that somehow?

there are about 10 different holes drilled into the two vertical pipes and when i first set it up they all had pretty much the same flow out of them. now some have been covered up so im sure that the flow has changes a little. overall i am happy with the way it has worked out except if i ever move i will have to cut it to get it out ( i glued it together inside the tank).
