Quick light question

Alright i have my 250w MH for my 56 gal tank i was thinking of adding some t5's to it for more actinic light for corals if i did it would be 2x 2F/2Bulbs fixtures and look somthing like 150W MHL with 2 x 2bulbs 2Ft Fixture my question is would this be 2 much light? should i go with all blue or get a mix?

What is the Kelvin rating on the MH bulb? I am currently running 2 14K Phoenix MH bulbs, and 4 T5HO bulbs over my 120. My T5's are: 2 Actinics, 1 Blue Plus, and 1 Purple Plus.

So I guess I'm saying, get a fixture with 2 Actinic bulbs. I seriously doubt you'll see that big of a coloration difference with all the bulbs running.

I think it depends on the color of the MH bulb you are using. If you are using a 10K MH bulb, then I would get all of the T5s in blue.

its a 14k MH bulb atm, fastrd400 it would be 2x t5's with 2 bulbs each so 4 total added to my 250w mh

That sounds like my set-up. Like I said, I'm running 2 14K MH, and 4 Actinics. It really is not overly blue at all.
