i just picked up a 55 that ill be turning into a sump/refugium for my 65...obviously the 55 wont fit under my stand so im setting it up in and area which is about 5 feet away from my dt in another room. theyll be separated by a bar and ill have to drill a couple of holes in the wall.
anyway...the sump will be on the floor and ill need to pump the water 4 ft up but also about 6 feet horizontally to reach my tank. im using a 1 & 1/4 inch diy pvc overflow but i can go up to 1 &1/2 if need be. how strong of a pump should i go with and which one do u guys reccomend?
