What are your fishes' names, and why did you pick them?

Hmmmm letz c....

Our clownfish are called Twiddledee and Twiddledum (female is Twiddledee, male is Twiddledum) Why? They always look confused and like to get into trouble.

Our green mandarin is Beau. Why? I thought he was a she at first so I called "her" Beauty....I had to shorten that when I found out.

Our 2 emerald crabs are Crab Dude and Crabby. Why? Crab Dude is huge and just likes to chill and gets along with everyone. Crabby is a huge *itch to everyone, hence the name.

Lastly our serpent starfish's name is Star....just because. :-)

Gideon the cave goby. (from Criminal Minds)
Cosmo & Wanda pair of Ocellaris Clowns (Fairly Odd Parents)
Fox face the Yellow Foxface Rabitfish. (from The Hunger Games)

If a small child calls the clowns Nemo, I tell them that they are named Coral and Marlin and are Nemo's mommy and daddy.

Haven't named the Flame Angel or the Mandarin yet. apparently my wife calls the Mandarin, Jerry. I just found that out a few minutes ago when she replied to my facebook posting. lol

We usually call ours by the type of fish they are & shorten some of them lol

Longnose Hawkfish ~ Hawk
Magnificent Foxface ~ Fox or Foxface
Clowns ~ Nemo or.. Clowns
Chromis ~ Chromis
6line Wrasse ~ Wrasse or Wrassy
Diamond Watchman Goby ~ Goby

Haha..yeah pretty original!

Maki - Black Axil Chromis
Astrid - Tailspot Blenny
Dahlia - Female clown
Ainsley - Male Clown
Cora - Six line
Caliope - Lemonpeel Mimic Tang
Arvin - Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse
Carmine - Yellow-flanked Fairy Wrasse
Gatsby - Solon Fairy Wrasse
Simeon - Pinkspotted watchman goby

The only fish that I really haven't found a name for is my black cap basslet, although I've tried several different names for him (Fernando is one I keep coming back to).

But honestly, I rarely call them by their names and instead refer to them as "my female clown" or my "tang" etc.

Our YWG is Bob because he likes to bob in and out of his PVC pipe/L tube.
Our scooter blenny is Skippy because he skips from rock to rock.
Our serpent star is Mr. T for tenacles since that's what you see coming first.
