What order should I buy my fish in?

I have decided on a jawfish, 2 clownfish, scooter blenny or multi-color blenny, and a small group of firefish. If that is too large of a list then I will tweak it. The problem seems to be that all the fish I should introduce first need an established tank before I can add them, like the jawfish and scooter blenny.

i would only do 1 clown in a tank the size of yours. i would start with the firefish than the jawfish then the scooter blenny than a clown very last

I heard that firefish need a group of at least 3? Is that too many?

I had a pair of maroon clowns in my 75, since they were a mated pair, they were fine. I would put the clowns in last since they can be territorial together. Just remember the jawfish will burrow and your LR needs to be stable, so adding that second to last is what I'd do, the bi-color could go in first, just my opinion. Happy reefing!

The jawfish stays in the sand and blennies usually stay on the rock.

I really like the red scooter, but if 35 gallons isn't enough I will probably get the bi-color or the red lip blenny.

My favorite blenny is the tailspot. Pretty colors and very comical-- and they stay small

yep just spread out the time that you add them all
