Where's Raja?

I have a wrasse that I haven't seen for almost a full day now. He never misses a meal, and he's missed two. UGH. We keep the tank covered...so there is no chance of him jumping out. Could something have eaten him? Could he be dead under rock somewhere? It's hard to believe because he's about 7 inches...and we haven't seen him (or a piece of him for that matter) for almost 24 hours. They don't hibernate to shed or something weird like that do they? Thanks. :question:

What kind of wrasse is he? Some sleep in the sand while others just have hideouts in the rockwork.

He's a male exquisite wrasse.

I know mine sleeps in the sand also. But he is out all day long. If you havent had a rock slide i wouldnt think he would be dead under a rock. What do you have in the tank big enough to eat him.

Nothing...that's the thing. He's the biggest other than a tang. My light should be on in a few minutes...maybe that'll bring him out. He's never slept this late.

PHEW. He came out when the light came on. Very strange for him. He's always out first thing in the morning waiting for breakfast. Thanks for all of your thoughts....
