When people say get a skimmer that can handle twice the size of your tank is that including sump or no?

I don't recall ever seeing anything like that thats why I am going to buy a bottle of them and put it in my fuge , was just wondering how they get into DT from fuge

This may sound like a dumb question but here goes, if I buy a bottle of pods and put it in my fuge with the cheeto how does it help my tank do they get into the DT via return pump?

drilled a few toothpick size holes in the top of the pipe next to the air tube and works great was not letting in enough air

now the water just keeps rising up and all of a sudden drops down and sounds like a toilet flushing

lol never mid last post wife just called me out to the living room its still doing it

did a bit of searching online and someone suggested that the return pump may be to much so I turned down the flow via ball valve and has now been running like a dream also much more quiet

its a reef ready tank made by perfecto

Does a fowlr need alot of flow like a reef tank?

Sometimes my overflow fills up really high then all of a sudden it just drops quick making gurrgling noise but most of the time it works wonders, does anyone know what causes this or does it happen to anyone else or am I just messed up somehow?

Does the fuge light need to be on all the time?
