I had a huge microbubble issue with my coralife skimmer. I bought a sock some activated carbon and a couple polishing pads. I put the carbon and polishing pads inside the sock and ran it, along with some water changes and after a few days it was back to normal.

So far what i've done is a 10% change, I have a HOB skimmer so i rigged it so it runs into a filter sock and in the sock is Polishing pad and below that is activated carbon. I've noticed little change so far but i think the water change will do the job.

What would happen if i put Reptile calium powder in the aquarium? It dissolved almost instantly so i'm wondering if it would be good in any way and what would be bad about it?
