Ok...I am getting tired of using the magnet on the sides EVERY DAY and stirring up the sand. When I get home from work, the tank has a thin brown coating on glass and the white sand is covered with what I thought was diatoms but maybe it is brown algea? Suggestions?

Hello, I have three small (1/2") creatures (sorry, tried to take pics but they were useless), that when open has a red center, has lots of tenicles, ending with a white dot. They close up to a red blob. Not sure what they are or even how to search for them.

Hello, I am setting up a 180g reef tank, switching over from fish-only. I am leaning towards an AquaMedic 72" 3 HQI-250w, 4 T5 39w. My LFS is suggesting a Coralife 3 MH 250w with 4 96w PC. Any suggestions, recommendations?
