ok so i have been looking into a better cheaper option to the cree leds that can be more affordable for anyone looking to DIY,i found some 10 watt high power leds, they come in blue,450 to 470 nm and cool white 6k to 7k so a combo of both gets you awsome coral growth and the blue color as well,i would think you could get better then 24 to 36 inch deep tanks with the strength of these lights, all you would need is a good heat sink,i really want to try this but not sure how to wire,if my thinking is corect i should be able to wire 2 10 watters to a 20 watt driver? if i am wrong let me know or 5 to a 50 watt driver? then i would need to figure out how many leds i would need, these leds have a 160 deg width on the beam, any opinions would be nice, and if you guys think this would be to much power on a 75 gallon tank
