Algae or Bacteria?

Reefing newb
Can anyone please tell me if this is bacteria or algae? It has begun to cover my tank in certain spots!! I have one 2x65watt
lights that are only on for exactly 8 hrs. from 11a.m to 7p.m on timer.... I have been searching the net trying to find a good pic of it. I ve' uploaded a few pics as well. It is brown/red its on the tank and on the sand!!! Here are the pics

Also is it from being a new tank? (up and running for about 2 months)and please tell me how to get rid of it!!!! It is truly unsightful!!!!!!!

Your system is 2 months old. to fix the problem you might not want to hear at this point but, my 2 cents, remove bio load (fish), or reduce feeding drastically in the short term, add more snails, astea stars if you can find um, and ceriths if you have a dsb. do not add any more crabs. the system is still maturing and will cycle through this problem if your water parameters are good, low nitrates, phosphates, and silicates.
