Well it arrived today (nova fixture). I am still at my university right now so I will set them up when I get home this afternoon. Will post pics when I get a chance.

So I got it, however what sucks is that 1 actinic bulb broke during shipping. Drsfostersmith is sending me a new one, so I still have it setup, but because one bulb is missing, then only 4 of them can light up, still looks great though!

That does suck big time....Im sure 2docs will get the new one out fast for you

Unfortunanlty, bulbs dont ship too well. Especially inside a fixture. The good thing is 2docs is awesome at customer service.

What do most people do when they want to feed their fish because this thing really gets in the way and it doesn't slide back too well?

I've always used a turkey baster to squirt the food in. That should be easy to maneuver around. Would that work?

Yeah what about reaching into the tank and stuff?

Alright so I thought of a great idea for moving the light out of the way. I could get some drawer slides and mount them to the tank and put the light on those and then whenever I wanted to feed the fish or reach into the tank all I would have to do is slide the light back.
