I'm not sure what you mean. You can put all of your equipment in your sump if you wish. Heater, skimmer, etc...

Finally hooked up the wet dry filter and not gonna lie I was in way over my head, it was kinda hard to set up but finally got it right, as of my protien skimmer, I didn't even hook it up it was to hard for me so I'm gonna read up on it and try to set up my skimmer 2m

For your skimmer air bubble problem, I don't think it will affect the fish. You might start a new thread to ask. But I know new skimmers can create a lot of air bubbles until they break in.

does anyone know from there own experience if 6 line is aggressive? I wanna put one in my tank but I want a peaceful reef no meanies
