Hagen Powerhead 802 replacement

Hi, I'd like to replace the Hagen Powerhead 802 on my 50 gallon simplicity plus filtration system. I tried to fit a Triton 3 in the space, but it was a tiny fraction of an inch too big across.

Basically, I would like the best pump I could get (maximum gph and lifespan) that is less than 3.5 inches across.

What are the 3 dimensions of the space you are working within? I know one side is 3.5 inches.

It's a little tough to estimate, because it's a slant, but the widest area is around 4 inches. Another inch, and across becomes 3.0 inches. It can be a foot tall... such a weird shape.

The dimensions of the Powerhead 802 are
5" long x 2 1/4" wide x 4 3/4" high and there is some room to spare.
