Reefing newb
Went on the annual trip with the WI Reef Society to Chicago area fish stores.

Midwest Coral Farms is freaking awesome!

Picked up some new corals and a Mandarin Goby!

Bad photos but he is still being shy so photographing him is proving to be interesting.

Managed to get these.

He was eating frozen at MWCF. My tank is filled with pods. I tried to send some frozen food (brine, mysis, krill) his way but I think I scared the little guy by shooting the food at him too fast.

He has been picking at the rocks and is generally very active for being in the DT for less than 24 hours.

I also picked up a bottle of Arctic-Pods.

Great! Make sure to keep offering him frozen as well as the pods he can snack on, so that he doesn't "forget" how to eat frozen once he's gone through all the pods :)

According to algae scrubber theory, I am breeding pods by the millions.

But yes, I will still be feeding frozen daily.

ya, i think that algae scrubber theory is bull. Ive been running one for over a year now and I have yet to see any come from the screen.

He seems to be doing great!
