yes you can add it later and whatever the largest you can fit in the stand underneath is a good tank size for the sump. 20, 30 gal will probably be about the biggest you will get in.. :D

Looks good, but i would still take that crushed coral out while you can, believe me, it will suck in the long run.

Yep, but it doesnt even need to be live sand, the sellers call it "live" but really normal sand is just as good, and less expensive.
Good sand will be called "sugar sand", its nice and fine, so if you do decide to get bottom dwellers, they wont damage their stomachs.

I think im going to go with CaribSea® Ocean Direct™ Caribbean Live Sand - Gravel & Sand - Fish - PetSmart just cause they sell it here in our town. I think I had some in my hand while I was there last night that said sugar size. Thanks again.

So many chemicals, parisites, human waste, ect ect, it easily leeches into your water.

When you say small, how small was it, it may have been a micro brittle star which is also good for your tank. And they're fine to touch, it won't harm you or anything.

maybe alittle bigger then a loonie maybe the size of a toonie. for none canadians lol I will say no less then 1" and no more the 11/2" in size total.
