I have removed my Remora C skimmer...it continues to pull straight water out of my system and although its probably been good for the tank (lots of changed out water) I know this isn't working right. I replaced it with a skimmer by "Aqua Clear Aquatics" (in sump)...a not so local fish store...

I installed my new Remora skimmer this afternoon and I now have microbubbles freaking everywhere...not a happy camper at all. Even though I employ a baffle system in my fuge/sump, I have microbubbles :mad!!: Anybody have any "microbubble elimination" tricks up their sleeve?

Well, after three looooooong weeks and a few days, my tank has finally turned the corner on cycling. :bounce: Both my nitrites and nitrates have fallen...nitrites are probably 1.6 to 3.3 mg/l and nitrates are probably 12.5 to 25 mg/l...both were "off the scale" last week and up until tomorrow...
