Ok, change the colors to what?
Everything in our reef tanks are bright colors. The brighter the better! No one wants a dull reef tank. :lol:

the purple fins on the yellow fish would be more appealing to me if they were green or blue, and the pink mat of the coral could be a yellow or blue... Either of those changes might mean changing some of the other colors too. I was going to photoshop it but I have to run now. I'll try to spend some time with it later if nobody disagrees with me. I want to reiterate that I really like the concept. It's my favorite design so far!

The fish is an acidy green and the fins are lavender. The coral mat is an intense magenta-y purple. I could go more purple on the mat, but if it was yellow the acid green polyps would disappear. I was using complimentary colors to make it more of a goofy "land of misfit toys" caricature of a reef. :)
If ya'll aren't man enough to wear some color ;) I can make some changes using similarly hued colors in each item.

It's a valid concern though. I know I would wear things that a lot of guys wouldn't, but if it's going to be an issue then we may have to make changes... to any of the designs that get chosen. But no matter what, you can never please everybody. Just have to go with the majority.

Part of the reason we are getting these shirts is to bring attention to our site and invite more people here, Right?
One way to get the attention is thru a shirt that stands out and that's different, like Living Reefs does. I think Dennis's design has both covered quite well

I would wear that shirt, I would prefer the design on the back though. Im not much for huge graphix on the front of my shirt.

Dennis, I love your colors. They're totally retro, hip, groovy and awesome. Any guy wearing that shirt would look absolutely HOT. Real men wear bright.
Maybe it's a female thing, I get a bit goofy about putting lots of words vertically across the "girls." I wouldn't change it though, it looks perfect where it is. LOVE the fishes, LOVE the colors, LOVE the design and the snail rocks! Very cool.

Oooops, Dennis, I just showed your design to my daughter. She loves it. Problem, she's a grammar whiz. The kid diagrams sentences for fun. There's a problem with "we're different...and we like it." Evidently, the ellipsis could act like a comma and the way the sentence is worded and in that case it's a sentence fragment... HEY, Dennis, you fragged your shirt! :mrgreen: Anyway, the grammar whiz suggests eliminating the "and we like it" So it would be "Livingreefs.com we're different" or you could do "Livingreefs.com We're different. We like it that way."

yes, I guess the problem is the use of the ellipses. They are breaking the sentence which means you've got a frag.
