Hi everyone, I couldn't help but ask about this. If a snail or hermit crab dies in the tank in a place that's difficult to reach should I be worried about trying to remove the body? I'm pretty confident that the bodies are getting eaten up by the other hermit crabs though...they're feisty.

I'm embarrassed to say it but I didn't really acclimate him. A huge slip of judgement on my part. He retracted when the LFS employee handled him though. When I was inspecting him I couldn't feel any movement inside the shell which is what makes me think he's not doing so hot.

Thanks Samhain. I'm looking around at the featherdusters and they've caught my eye. It does say it requires a a steady diet of phytoplankton. I dont have corals yet but will the duster be able to survive in a FOWLR? Of course I can buy supplements if need be.
