I have a quick question, can a colony of coral transfer nutrients from polyp to polyp? i.e. if I feed just some of the polyps in a colony, will others receive nutrients? thanks guys....

I was thinking about feeding my spiny lobster shrimp from the grocery store. Is this a good idea? should i cook it a little to sterilize it?

I saw the guy at the LFS and just had to get him. The guy says hes from the Philippines, but i dont know much about him. Does anyone have experience with spiny lobsters?

Here's my 40 gal. Its finally back up and running since I dropped my light in the tank. My new light is 192 watts and has a moon light so I'm probably better off. Im going to get some new fish and coral soon.... any suggestions?

anyone do this before or know something about lighting? i have 2 t5 lights that fell into the tank last night for about 10 seconds. now the light blinks (both bulbs simultaneously). is the light ruined or is there some way i can fix it? thanks guys. :frustrat:

I am looking into having macroalgae in my display tank, from what i have seen probably mermaid's fan. does anyone have any experience with mermaid's fan, or any suggestions or tips? thanks.
