Is that what this is? Would I be able to fill the tank with a vinegar solution for a couple days to loosen it up? It's an acrylic tank. I know some chemicals are a big no no for acrylic but I haven't heard anything about vinegar. Just want to make sure before I start.

I just picked up a used 55g tank and it has very bad build-up problem. I was wondering if it would be ok to use something like CLR or Lime Away to jump start the cleaning process. In the past I've only used vinegar/water to clean but this one is beyond anything I've attempted. Thanks
