Angel and humu shot....some questions?

I love our new camera,but every shot is still auto settings.I've taken hundreds already and still can't seem to get the shot i'm looking for.So,how do you take a tank shot with just the tank lights on,so you can capture the fish as they look with the lighting on them?I have no clue yet about iso,shutter speed ,aperture,af modes....what?It might as well be in spanish:D

I'm in the same boat as you. I recently got a new camera and have figured out how to turn it on and put it into Auto. :lol:

They do, and they also make dummies books for specific models of DSLR cameras. You should wait to get an answer from D2mini and Picasso both are excellent photographers. But, I think that a lot of the way the picture comes out also has to do with some photo editing after the initial shot. i.e. changing the color balance.
