d2mini's Epic Fantabulous New Reef Build

haha, sorry. :)

Actually, I should have been diving right eff'ing now!!!
But I caught a virus this past week and had to postpone. :(

Now I'm about to book flights for this sunday night with a monday morning dive. Woot! :D

How deep are you diving?
I thought there were safety issues with flying and diving within such a short span? Or was it diving and then flying?

Its only 20ft deep and I'll be more snorkeling towards the surface.
Got me a brand new set of snorkel gear too.

I can see it now....

ErinCahir: "Anyone know what happened to Dennis and his sexy tank???"

Bifferwine: "Yeah, I heard his head exploded all over rows 5-12 over Shreveport, LA."

Well technically in that scenario it's in airspace OVER LA.
But I appreciate your sadness, that would suck. lol

Coming from you, I hope not. :D

Right now I have a drawstring felt bag tied over the plumbing. Nothing fancy.

And Erin, it was sweet either way. ;)

Am I crazy or can you just buy the wet side assembly for the mp10, the dry side and the controller upgrade for $223 and save $20? lol

Ya I got that email yesterday, but for my 24" deep tank it's not needed.
In fact I'll be turning mine down! haha

What i'm waiting for is the EcoSmart Live software. :)
EcoTech Marine Introduces New EcoSMART Live Platform | EcoTech Marine

I have the same height tank, good to know they're not needed. :)

That software looks awesome! I'm so glad companies like EcoTech are embracing technology like that.

So... if the Radion can communicate with the MP's, I wonder if they'll expand that to support configuring those with that software as well.

Giggity!

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I read somewhere that it will control vortechs as well.

Awesome. Just... awesome. I'm all about controlling electronics over WiFi. My entertainment center is already set up like that. If I can set my tank up like that (for the most part), it makes my iPad even MORE useful. :)

I'm set to order 2 EcoTech Radions as soon as I verify that the BRS Reward Points are working on the new site. They don't show on the cart page like the old site did.

On another note, are you using a gravity + float switch ATO on your sump?

Go under My Account at the top and drop down to My BRS Reward Points.
You have to be signed in of course. ;)

For ATO i'm currently using a Profilux Level Sensor and Profilux Dosing Pump.
