dcantucson's Zero Edge

DAVID! OMG!

Now, you saying at the beginning "they're not very good" that's just insulting. You're like those super skinny blonde girls that eat one french fry and complain about being fat!

I want to believe that photography class has helped you get those shots?

AWESOME tank and you've got a beautiful bomb shelter! Love the art!

Thanks Catherine. I still don't think they are very good... BUT this is the first time I actually used it, so I think I'll get a little bit better. I have a much better appreciation for your, Dennis' and Donna's photographic abilities.

David,
Loving the new pics, great shots and the tank looks wonderful.

Making me really think about getting a zero edge for my tank upgrade. Still liking that style of tank?

How often do the snails cause spills? That'd be the biggest concern I'd have, with hard wood floors. Is it hard to clean the algae off with the water on both sides?

Tank is awesome, and jeez I dont know what to say. I had never seen the tank and now I am trying to talk the girl into forgoing bathroom remodel to get one....

It's only the Astrea snails which are large that cause a problem sometimes. It's because of their shape. Their cone shape funnels the water out 2-3" when they are on the outside of the tank. Only happens once a month or so, but could be eliminated by having smaller snails or no Astrea snails.

The algae on the outside is very minimal because of the flow. You can wipe it off with just a sponge. My tank takes about an hour once a month to clean the acrylic.

Oh how easily most of you believe him...its still a imaginary tank to me...where is the proof? I dont see david himself in any of the pics...:mrgreen:

Yea its refreshing to see some new pics but the quality of the photos are no different from his original pics. Same camera!!!!. You wont fool me david... :grumble::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

You;re very clever with the whole "I got a new cam" scheme...brilliant actually, but this one wont get past me...:)

:Cheers::Cheers:

Dave, you're tank looks awesome! Very jealous, but I'm glad to see you've got it set up well and everything looks very healthy. Keep the pics coming as you gotta pay for the camera with more pics. Good stuff!
