i just bought new lights"2-250 halides & 2-48" vho" and i want to get into SPS. are they really that difficult to keep? i dont have a calcium reactor and i have never used kalkwrasser before.my tank is a 135 with about 1200 gph total turnover.is that enough for sps? any input will be appreciated....

trade drilled 135 gallon for 100 gallon drilled or not? 135 has 1-2'' overflow,2-1'' returns. just want something shorter is all. no it dosent leak,its a oceanic and is currently set up.will meet half way if you live in washington???

well since my last post my tank was in bad shape....i did a water test today and my ammonia,nitrites are at 0 and my nitrates are at 20ppm.would it be cool to put my animals back in the aquarium?

i have super high nitrate's 50-80 ppm.i just got some purigen and wanted some advise before i add it....

is it ok to mix turbo calcium with r/o water for make up water? I am trying to keep my calcium at 450-475 ppm.when dosing,i should dose at night when ph is low,or during the day?or would the calcium mix have high ph? or better yet would kalkwrasser be a more affective method??:frustrat:
