How much media should I use in my new phosban 150 on a well established 75 gal reef. I'm using the phosban bio pellets. I've heard of people using too much media and crashing their tanks. I certainly don't want that but I'm trying to cure algae growth.

I can't decide which to buy. I want to totally strip all phosphate from the rocks. I have a bad brown hair algae problem right now.

I have had a massive sea fan I'm my reef for about 3 weeks now. It's tail is dug in good now but it doesn't come out and fan much anymore. Any ideas why.

What brand and make phosphate media have you had good success with?

I have a starry blenny. And my tank is being taking over by algae. I am considering on buying a lawnmower blenny. Will these 2 be able to coexist together in a 75 g.

Any idea what this is. It's small about 1/4 inch. Plus this is acan hitch hiker update.

I got 2 new dart fish last night. I dripped them for 2 hours. I came home from this morning and only one of them is visible. Does this mean I am going to have to pull all my rock out to find a $8 fish to keep from nuking my tank. P

I recently obtained a frag and some red slime is growing on it now. How do I get rid of it.

Alright here goes. My reef tank is about 7 months away from being able to support a tang. So no immediate purchase is in the works. I am wanting to know if a white tail bristle tooth tang is compatible with a yellow tang if they put in at the same time. I really like these fish.

What's a good price for a frag of this species.

I put a bag of chemi pure elite into my system today and my water got cloudy. It was not cloudy before. I put it in my sump. It Should clear back up shouldn't it? I hope it does. All I have heard is good things about this product.

I have 1 coral beauty angel. My 2 clowns I got today are staying in upper back corner. I think it may be new environment shock. I hope they come out of it. There is PLENTY of corals for them to host in. When they come out of it, they will be in a clownfish Disneyland. :Cheers:

I came home today to find my MRC skimmer nor working. The drain is not firmly attached or sealed properly to the black box. I bought it used and noticed a little wabble to the exhaust side. Is this normal I have never actually seen another MRC in person. Should I seal the drain to the box. It...

My sandbed is 5" deep very fresh just put it in water yesterday. What should I do about the bubbles in the sand. I can see them up against the glass so I know there is thousands more. Help pls..... :bowdown:
